Over the past year, we’ve realised that mental health is more important than anything else we can invest our time in. Physical fitness and movement are the besties of mental health. We gotta keep our precious bod and soul moving.
What better time than now to take up a new hobby or hone in on something you’ve been learning for a little while. Hula hooping is the BEST social distancing activity- think about it!
Our classes are for everyone, from complete beginners to those ready to level up. We’ll get that hoop spinning, we’ll get you moving and we’ll get you showing off all the fancy hoop tricks.
We’ve got Australia’s most expert teaching team, with years of hula hooping and teaching experience. Loaded up with tonnes of experience and qualifications, these gals know how to safely and expertly teach any and every body, no matter what your goals are. The HT&B squad are your fun fitness professionals!
Private classes also available in person or via Zoom.

We have classes for all levels so you can find your best fit and we’ll always support you to move at your own pace, whether that’s taking it nice and slow or burning up the d-floor with all the moves we can possibly teach you!
What you need:
- A hula hoop – Shop here. Hoops are provided in all classes but you’ll want your own to practice with too.
- Comfortable clothing- less is more to keep the hoop on your bod
- A water bottle
- Your fabulous self!

Great fun! Shona is a legend, patient and helpful and I highly recommend if you’re looking for something different to the normal fitness class.
Jane Fondle is the most awesome hula teacher! She is super fun, funny and patient and so encouraging of everyone, no matter what your skill level is. She’s also an amazing performer to boot!
I have never hooped before so was a complete beginner! All the tricks are broken down and taught in a real engaging and memorable way.. I’ve learnt so much and had heaps of fun along the way. Both Jane and Shona are the most wholesome and fabulous teachers ever and I always looked forward to seeing them each week!! Definitely recommend!!!!!!!!
I’ve been to a couple of hula hoop classes with this amazing woman! Jane Fondle’s classes are such a vibrant fun experience and I loved every single bit of it. Her style of teaching is so uplifting and hilarious and guarantees a good time.
The classes are fun, playful and Jane has this ability to attract a tribe of kind and fun students who can laugh at themselves (which makes learning new things less daunting in class!)….
Would recommend if you’re looking to learn new tricks, get fit, have a play, learn body awareness (hooping has been so good for this), but also if you’re wanting to be a part of a beautiful community.
Jane Fondle has incredible energy & is so fab, so fun, so inclusive, so motivating! If you want a bit of sassy hoppy cool in your life I recommend Hoops Thighs & Buttocks classes, beginner, intermediate, as you are!
